Newborn visit schedule:
Preventive care begins the day your baby is born. If requested, one of our pediatricians will visit you and your newborn in the hospital and begin caring for your baby from day one.
We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended schedule for newborn visits — typically within 3 to 5 days of discharge from the hospital, then at 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months through the first year.
A note for first-time parents:
There is no such thing as a question too small. If you are a first-time parent and the first few weeks feel harder than you expected — that is completely normal and it is exactly what we are here for.
