We offer complete green card medical exams, also known as immigration physicals or I-693 medical exams for you and your entire family at Dr. Brena Desai Pediatrician PC located in Flushing ,New York.

Dr. Brena Desai USCIS Designated Civil Surgeon

All immigration medical exams are conducted by  Dr Brena Desai, a civil surgeon designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to perform immigration physicals and sign the required form. We offer immigration physicals to children older than 6 months and adults of all ages.

Our Immigration medical examination includes the following:

  • A review of your medical history and a physical exam 

  • A review of your vaccination record and vaccine recommendations

  • QuantiFERON blood test for tuberculosis (TB) screening

  • Testing for gonorrhea and syphilis

  • Completion of the official I-693 form for changing your immigration status


Documents you need for the medical examination

When you go for your USCIS Medical Examination, make sure to bring the following documents:  

  1. A valid government-issued photo ID: This can be your passport, driver’s license, or another official ID.  

  2. Form I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record): Your Civil Surgeon will provide this form. Do not sign — you must sign it in the presence of the civil surgeon

  3. Vaccination records: If you have records of your any vaccinations since birth, bring them along.  

  4. Medical records related to your health history: If you have any existing medical conditions or past treatments, bring any relevant documents.  

  5. Payment for the exam: The cost of an immigration physical is 190$, and the cost of vaccines and lab tests would be additional. 


Helpful tips

Schedule your exam well ahead of your application deadline to allow time for any follow-ups. 

  • Review and update your vaccination records in advance to prevent processing delays
