If the doctor is available, the call may be transferred. If the child is very sick, a same-day appointment may be offered. Otherwise, the doctor typically returns parent calls at the end of the day.

My child has a rash. What can I apply?

My child has an appointment for vaccines but is a little sick. Should I reschedule?

We are traveling. Does my child need special vaccines or precautions?

Vaccines & newborn care

The area where my child received a vaccine is red and swollen. What should I do?

Mild redness and swelling at the injection site are common. Apply a cold compress or ice pack wrapped in a cloth to the affected area for short periods throughout the day. If the redness worsens, becomes very painful, or your child develops a fever or other concerning symptoms, please contact our office.

How safe are vaccines for babies?

How can I prepare my child for shots?

Will vaccine ingredients harm my child more than the diseases they prevent?

Does my child need all of the recommended vaccines right now? Can we wait and get some later?
